Reception Visit Church 2025
Reception enjoyed visiting our parish church of St. Mary’s. We talked about baptism, and they took part in role play to explore the different parts of baptism. Reception enjoyed their visit to church and were excited to find out more about baptism.
Year 3 map work
Year 3 were spotting human and physical features on the huge OS maps. They looked at the key to learn many new map symbols. They found lots of local areas and pointed to them using co-ordinates.
Egremont Castle 2025
Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon investigating and observing the historic site of Egremont Castle and noticing exactly why it was such a perfect position for a fort and castle.
Florence Mine 2025
- Year 6 had a lovely morning learning at Florence Mine learning about the mining industry , how it has been a huge part of the development of Egremont and inspiration to local artists.
Y2 Making Marks in Art

Reception preparing snacks together in RE.
This week in RE, Reception have been learning that God made each one of us and we can be part of his family through baptism. We prepared snacks together as a way of taking care of ourselves, because we are special.
Year 3 Coding 2025
Year 3 were writing codes for their mice to help them to locate the cheese. They did it really well, giving code directions and then created their own routes and commands to their own maze. Well done Year 3.

Cookery after school club 2025
Our first cookery after school club of the new school year and we made gingerbread men from scratch. We added flour, brown sugar and butter together and added a sprinkle of cinnamon and ginger. Yummy!
