Year 2 spent the morning at Westlakes Academy taking part in STEM workshops. They participated in workshops from Amentum, Hare, Balfour Beatty, Moorforge Viking and Sellafield. They found out about the role of project managers and engineers whilst working together as a team to create projects and solve problems. What a wonderful way to learn about jobs in STEM! Some of the children have been inspired and think they may enjoy a job in STEM when they grow up.
