Reception class has its own entrance at the front of school. The door will be opened at 8.50am and parents can come into the cloakroom to help their children put coats and bags into the lockers. Registration is at 9am so we ask that all parents leave promptly so lessons can begin.

Year 1 and Year 2 children access their classrooms via the front door and through the hall. Doors are opened at 8.50am. Parents can come into school and leave their children at the classroom doors where they'll be greeted by the class teacher or teaching assistant. Children have access to their lockers inside their classrooms.

Junior children enter school via the side gate by Nursery at 8.50am, where they go directly to their lockers before going into class. We expect children in KS2 to do this independently. Junior children leave school at 3pm via the Junior locker room, situated at the side of school. Each class will come out in turn.

Morning Snack

Infant children receive a free portion of fruit or vegetable, as part of a government initiative, every day. Junior children can bring in their own healthy snack from home or use the tuck shop which is available every play time. Items cost between 10p and 50p. Children may spend a maximum of 50p each day.

Dinnertime

Dinner begins at 11.45am for Nursery, 11.50am for Reception, 11.55am for Year 1 and 12 noon for Year 2. Junior dinner time begins at 12.15am. All children are helped at the hatch by the midday supervisors and supported with using their cutlery where needed. All children have a playtime on their yard during dinnertime which finishes at 1 pm. Dinner costs £2.20 per day, £11 per week.

Water

All children bring a freshly filled water bottle to school every day and have access to fresh water to refill it as and when is necessary. There is a filtered water cooler available in the school hall.

Hometime

School finishes at 3 pm for Reception to Year 6 children. Nursery children finish at 3.15 pm and leave school through their outside door. Reception leave school via their outside classroom door and Year 1 and 2 leave via the front door. Juniors leave, a class at a time, from the junior door at the side of the school.
