Year 3 have been learning about light. They had lots of fun measuring their shadows at different times of the day to see how they changed. They discovered that their shadows were around 30cm shorter than their actual height.
They also carried out an investigation to see whether the size of a shadow changed if the light source was close or further away from an object. They found that the closer the light source, the larger the shadow!
