Year 2 Visit to the Rum Story 2025
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Rum Story as part of their history unit on the Whitehaven in the past. They learned all about how rum was made and how the Jefferson family played a vital role in the trade of rum and sugar in Whitehaven. What an interesting visit it was!
The start of Reception’s gymnastics sessions
Reception enjoyed their first gymnastic session learning how do a pointy pencil balance and a star. They also learnt how to pose in a tuck, straddle and pike position. Great job Reception with our gymnastics coach.
Year 3 celebrate 80 years since VE day
On Thursday Year 3 looked fantastic in red, white and blue. They all enjoyed a lovely outdoor picnic lunch followed by plenty of fresh air, making spitfires and colouring in. A great day to mark all of those who fought and died in WW11.
Sewing and threading in Reception
