We all had a great time spending time together exploring the fort at Lowther Castle on our end of year trip. We finished the day with ice lollies to cool off! 

Year 6 enjoyed their final trip together today at Lowther Castle. They had great fun running around, climbing, swinging, sliding and generally spending time together in the great outdoors. The day ended with an ice lolly to cool down.

A huge congratulations to our netball team who took part in a tournament at West Lakes Academy. They worked together as a team taking on board all the coaching skills they had learnt from our netball coach Mrs Parr and came 1st place overall scoring 41 goals! We are very proud of them!

Reception have been recapping on all our Maths learning from this year. One area we have particularly focused on this term is number bonds to 10. The children created their own number bonds using cards, including using the add and equals sign. Great Mathematicians in Reception!

Our Nursery 1 children loved their trip on ‘The Ratty’ today!
We loved singing songs on the bus ride to The Ratty. We watched out the train windows for different animals on the way. Once there, we enjoyed a picnic lunch before playing on the play park and returning on the train.

Today two Sellafield apprentices came in to tell us all about their jobs. We learnt about what happens at Sellafield and how STEM subjects are important in their roles. Some of our younger Nursery children enjoyed a visit to the book bus yesterday afternoon. 
They listened to a lovely story before choosing some books to bring back to Nursery and share with everyone.
