Nursery’s Elf and Fairy day
Nursery had an Elf and Fairy party today where the children dressed up and had a party! We played party games like musical bumps and statues in the hall and danced. We also had some party food. At the end of the party we even had a surprise visit off Santa! What a fun packed morning!
The Stickman
After reading the story of the Stickman the children made their own Stickmen and ladies. They added collage materials and eyes to make the Stickmen.
The naughty elf
The Naughty elf has been up to all sorts of mischief in Nursery this week. He even managed to tie Mrs Bear up in toilet roll!
Nursery’s Santa
Nursery have been making their own Santa baubles this week, which they will be bringing home to put on their own Christmas trees. We took a picture of all the children dressed in a Santa hat to go inside the bauble. some were really happy Santas, but we did have a few grumpy Santas too.

Nursery singalong
Our Nursery took part in their Nursery singalong this week. They sang some Christmas songs and families came to watch. We hope you enjoyed coming to watch them and we were all really proud of them. These are some pictures of the show and one of our dress rehearsals.
Library Y4
This morning, Year 4 visited Egremont Library to choose a book to take home to read and share with family over the Christmas holiday.
Y4 Writing
Year 4 have been feeling festive in their Christmas jumpers, listening to classic Christmas music while they write a final version of their legends.
Acts of Kindness Y4
Year 4 have been learning about how to share God’s love and friendship as part of their Advent preparations. They carried out random acts of kindness in the local community by handing out sweets and chocolates alongside messages of love and friendship.
Year 2 Nativity Play
Year 2 performed a brand new play called ‘Higgledy Piggledy Nativity’. We are very proud of them for putting on a truly amazing performance. Their family and friends thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
Year 1 Nativity Play
Well done Year 1 on their performance of ‘Shine Shine Star’. Everyone worked hard to give the best performance they could. They all shone bright.
Reception Nativity Play
Our Reception class did two performances of their play ‘The Bossy King’. Their families thoroughly enjoyed the show. There are certainly some stars for the future in this class.
Corn Dollies Y4
As part of our topic on Anglo-Saxons, Y4 made their own Corn Dollies. We all agreed that it was very ‘fiddly’ and required careful dexterity and patience.
