Remembrance Day was always going to be very different this year but this did not stop Year 2 remembering in their own special way. All the children took part in the Poppy Run which was followed by a 2 minute silence to remember the fallen. The children found out about why we remember the armistice and reflected on this in their prayer and liturgy. The afternoon was spent learning about the artist Georgia O’Keefe and using pastels to create poppies in the same style as her artwork.
