Y5 have worked hard to create their own versions of Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. We have some budding young artists!
Year 4 develop watercolour and oil pastel skills
Year 4 learnt new techniques to create different effects with their paint brush. They used watercolours to create a landscape which showed a variety of painting techniques. They also explored how to blend and apply oil pastel for best effect on their bonfire
Gymnastics Year 3
Year 3 have been practising their rolls and now know how to do cartwheels! We are so good at gymnastics!

International Artists Day Y4
As part of Intenational Artists Day, Y4 compared two well-known artists. We then chose a style we liked and had a go at creating our own versions. Can you guess which two artists we looked at?
Year 3 had a spooktacular day!
Year 3 enjoyed a fun filled day with lots of activities. They looked amazing in their scary costumes. An excellent effort from children and parents to make them look so goulish. We plan to write instructions for one of our activities: pumpkin
Halloween P.E.
Year 2 had a Halloween themed multiskills session for P.E. Today. They pretended to be ghosts, vampires, zombies and skeletons while trying to steal treasure from the haunted house and playing evading games. A spooky time was had by all!
Year 4 Squash
Year 4 enjoyed their very first Squash coaching session this morning. They developed their balancing skills and learnt what strong arms you need.
Outdoor in all weathers!
Nursery learn outside in our outdoor provision in all weathers. They love to put waterproofs and wellies on and go and jump in the puddles. Fun in the rain!
Autumn activities in Nursery

Y1 Castles D&T

Y5 science
Year 5 carried out an investigation to see if they could separate a mixture of sand, salt and water. They discovered that filtering the mixture separated the sand and evaporation separated the salt and water.
