To mark British Science week, Y6 created a science investigation to discover the rate at which solids would dissolve in liquids. They worked in groups and discussed the different types of variables which would affect their investigation. They recognised and predicted that hot water would help some solids dissolve better than cold water. They agreed that next time, an independent variable would be to stir the liquid to help the solid dissolve faster. The children were great at thinking and working scientifically and worked together efficiently to record and reach their conclusions.
