Year 2 continue to keep fit by enjoying a Mile a Day in the winter sunshine. They are learning how to pace themselves so they can keep running without stopping and about the importance of stretching after a run.

Gymnastics in Year One

Year One have enjoyed learning gymnastics today. We looked at different positions for our body to be in and learned the technical names for them.  We are looking forward to learning a routine soon.

Y4 hockey

In PE we have been learning hockey skills with Dan. We learnt how to hold the stick with two hands, to dribble, shoot and defend. We finished the lesson with a game to practise all these skills. We all played fairly and showed good sportsmanship.

Year 2 Gym

Year 2 enjoyed using a range of different apparatus this morning to practise the skills they have learnt in gymnastics this term. They used different ways to move along the equipment and created their own shapes as well as traditional gymnastics poses.

Phunky Fit with Key Stage 1
