Wheelchair Basket Ball Year 5
Year 5 had a great experience learning how to play wheelchair basket ball. They quickly learnt how to manoeuvre the wheelchairs and soon picked up clever tactics in order to score a goal.
Year 4 Rugby
Today, we had a parent/rugby coach in school to help us with some ball skills - we’re having an action packed week! All the children gave it their all and worked on attacking and defending techniques.
Year 3 Rugby
Year 3 had a wonderful time in Rugby. What a super, muddy, excellent afternoon learning new skills and working really hard as a team. Many thanks to Mr. Telford who came in to teach us.
Year 3 Wheelchair Basketball
Year 3 had a a great time taking part in wheelchair basketball. The coaches remarked on their wonderful teamwork and how skillful they were in moving around in the wheelchairs. The children had wonderful fun as they were allowed to crash into each other and snatch the ball.

Year 4 Wheelchair Basketball
Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed wheelchair basketball today. I certainly saw their competitive natures surface. Some brilliant defending techniques and a good time had by all.
Wheelchair Basketball Coaching
What a great experience! Year 6 had the opportunity to play Wheelchair Basketball today. The coach gave teaching points about how to move with the ball, how to score and some basic rules, including crashing into one another and grabbing the ball. Everyone enjoyed their game.
Wheelchair basketball in Reception
Reception had the opportunity to take part in wheelchair basketball with a coach. We learnt how to turn and go backwards and forwards and even crash into others! We then had a turn at trying to score the basketball into the net. It was enjoyed by all.
Year 3 Football
Year 3 really enjoyed playing football today. The rain did not stop them. They were dribbling trough obstacles in teams. Practicing their ball control and using their skills.

Dancing with scarves in Reception
In Reception we have been learning to move using our feelings. How would you move if you were happy, excited, sad or angry? We then played some different types of music and the children moved using scarves to enhance their movements. There were high and low movements and fast and slow movements.…
