Year 5 Pet Encounters
Year 5 enjoyed meeting all the animals from Pet Encounters. They held Java and Noodle the snakes and learnt that they aren’t actually slimy! Henry the parrot was a huge hit with his hilarious repertoire of noises and words. We all had a look at the tarantula and tried to spot the chameleon…
Year 1 Pet Encounters
Thank you to The Brilliant Cumbria initiative for organising a pet Encounters to visit today. We enjoyed being challenged to face our fears and to learn about the animals. We were all very brave and had so much fun. Thank you to Pet Encounters.
School Council Year 5
Today the Y5 children voted for who they wanted to represent them as a class on the School Council. The children who wanted to be considered all prepared speeches explaining why they would be good for the job. The two children elected are excited to start their new role.

Year 5 and 6 Trip to Walby Farm Park

Year 3/4 Bowlers

Year 3 trip to The Roman Senhouse Museum
Year 3 had a great day studying 2,000 year old plus artefacts, carrying out a quiz, looking at replicas of Roman weapons, learning about the army, seeing the remains of a real Roman Fort from the top of a watch tower and making our own Roman sculpture from clay.
Coronation Fun in Y6
Y6 had a fun day to celebrate the Coronation. They enjoyed the bouncy castles, a buffet style street party, singing, entertainment and some dancing on the yard too. Overall, a fantastic day to mark a historic and special event!
