Y4/6 Tree planting
Y4 and some Y6 have had a wonderful time planting trees by the River Ehen. They learnt about the importance of trees in the environment and planted a grand total of 700! We also got to see the Cumbria Rivers Trust’s new van with Jensen’s design on it!

Senior Citizens Lunch
Senior Citizens from our Parish enjoyed their annual fish and chip lunch in school. Our year 6 children waited on and they were entertained by our KS2 choir singing a selection of hymns.

Choral Speaking
The Choral Speakers have enjoyed an exceptional day at The Workington Musical Festival. They received a Distinction mark of 87 for their performance of Dog in the Playground by Allan Ahlberg. There were also individual successes for others pieces. All the children were a credit to the school and…
