Toby’s Christmas Drum
Our fabulous Reception class gave their best performance of our nativity, Toby’s Christmas Drum. They sang and did all the actions and spoke very loud if they had a line. We are so proud of them!
5 currant buns
When learning about 1 less in Maths in Reception, the children were learning songs such as 5 currant buns. They made the buns in the play dough and put the cherries on top. They then sang the rhyme together saying what number was 1 less as they took a bun away.
Catholic Schools Advent Service

Reception at the pantomime
Reception had a trip to the pantomime at the Carnegie in Workington to watch ‘Sleeping Beauty’. We had a great time watching the story on the stage and joining in with the characters. A lovely start to our Christmas!
Year 1 at the Pantomime.
Year 1 had a great time at the pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ today along with Reception and Year 2. They had fun joining in with the chanting and laughing at all the jokes and unusual costumes. There were lots of happy, smiling faces on the way home.

Making Soup
As part of their Design and Technology unit, Year 4 have been learning about the differences between processed and home made food. Today they used raw ingredients to make tomato soup. They were very careful to perfect their grating skills.
Rivers Field Trip

Christmas Storytime and Draw-along Session
