Friendship Disco Year 5
Year 5 had a great time with their friends at our annual ‘Friendship Disco’ as part of ‘Anti-Bullying Week.’ They enjoyed dancing to their favourite songs and then chilling out chatting with each other enjoying some refreshments.
Y6 Footballers
Some of our Y6 boys attended a football tournament at Whitehaven Academy. They returned u beaten and didn’t concede any goals at all. Amazing team work and effort!

Friendship Disco 2023
Year 2 children came to school in non-uniform today ready for the Friendship Disco after school. They had a thoroughly enjoyable time dancing, playing musical statues and sharing a snack and a drink. Everyone went home happy and smiling.

Y2 Panathlon
Some of our Year 2 children represented us at a Panathlon competition. The children took part in many activities using their throwing and catching skills to aim at a target. They showed great perseverance and sportsmanship.
Panathlon Year 5
Congratulations to the Y5 children who took part in a Panathlon today coming in 2nd place. They enjoyed playing a selection of throwing, catching and target games. They all showed excellent Sportsmanship skills and were a credit to our school.

Using Nature in Art
Year 4 have been using nature to create works of art. They have been using their observation skills to examine contour lines and patterns in nature. They collected leaves from Whinlatter Forest and their local environment. They created rubbings of leaves using wax crayons and observed the lines…
New Books
Our Reading Ambassadors have been busy this week. They were very excited to accept delivery of the new books from each class’ wish list. They organised them into piles then stamped them with the school stamp.
