Year 1

Year 1 have enjoyed investigating floating and sinking at home.  They selected various objects around the house to test.  They predicted and then tested the different materials.  Great home learning Year 1.  

We are getting on with our home learning brilliantly.  A big thank you to parents and carers for supporting the children with the tasks set.  Keep it up.

What a fabulous spooky day we all had.  Harold our class skeleton had the time of his life!  We enjoyed  making spooky crafts and reading the story Funny Bones.  Everyone looked fantastic in their costumes. 

We used Numicon to explore making number bonds that make 10.  We had lots of fun exploring using Numicon and using it to check our answers.  Great work. 

 Today Year 1 celebrated World Mental Health Awareness Day.  We talked about what makes each one of us amazing.  In the afternoon we made sunshine’s to remind us how brightly we all shine.
