Mental Health Awareness Week

We all enjoyed wearing green today as part of promoting Mental Health Awareness.  We had lots of fun creating some surprise ‘Take a Break’ packs to send home today.  We talked about what Mental Health means and self help strategies we can use to help ourselves. Year 1 shared that they enjoy playing outside, stroking pets, listening to music and watching a favourite film to make them feel good.  
We used the Remindful cards to focus our thoughts and channel positivity.  In our class we are a team and need to look out for one another.  It’s good to be aware of our own feelings and other peoples.
