In Design and Technology, Year 6 are learning about healthy snacks by exploring street foods from around the world. This week we used knife skills to create our own burritos which originate from Mexico. We talked about how we could personalise our burritos by using different ingredients. 

KS2 had an amazing time at the Friendship Disco tonight! They loved dancing with their friends and enjoyed having a snack, drink and chat together.

The Library Van visited our school today. Everyone had the opportunity to choose a library book. There was so much choice! Some of us have already arranged to swap our books with each other after we’ve read them. 
 

Year 6 enjoyed a visit to their local library, Egremont Library, this afternoon. They are learning how to take responsibility for returning a book before withdrawing another. Tracey, the librarian, was very impressed with how many children returned their book. 

This month is the Month of the Rosary. Each day Year 6 have been leading prayers through the mysteries. Through each decade we meditated and reflected on the life of Jesus and Mary and thought about how we can live out our lives in the light of Jesus Christ. Some of us brought our own rosaries…
