Year 6 had some archery coaching this afternoon. They learned lots of skills like how to stand in the correct position, hold the bow and arrow and how to take aim. They quickly found that it required a lot of concentration and power to hit the target. 

Year 6 enjoyed an afternoon of explosive fun whilst learning all about the scientific concept of energy.

Year 6 had some tag rugby coaching this afternoon. They learned how to pass the ball and how to defend and attack. 

Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon investigating and observing the historic site of Egremont Castle and noticing exactly why it was such a perfect position for a fort and castle. 

Year 6 had a lovely morning learning at Florence Mine learning about the mining industry , how it has been a huge part of the development of Egremont and inspiration to local artists.

We are incredibly proud of our girls who ran in the Crab Fair last night. They ran a distance of 3k and loved every minute of it. They are also our Sports Leaders and are setting a shinning example of how to keep active outside of school. Well done girls!
