Y4 Athletics
Year 4 had a great time at an Athletics Festival putting into practice skills we have been learning in P.E.
Y4 Keepie Uppie Challenge
Y4 enjoyed taking part in the Keepie Uppie Challenge to see who could hit the tennis ball the most number of times without dropping it. The record was 352!
Cricket
Reception had lots of fun in the sun this afternoon learning some basic cricket skills from some members of the Egremont Cricket Club. Afterwards they found out more about the sport in an interactive assembly.
Y4 tennis
Year 4 enjoyed learning new tennis skills with Dan. They learnt how to hold the racket correctly, how to serve and enjoyed playing a few games.
Year 3 Sprint Races
Year 3 enjoyed taking part in Sprint races with some added extra challenges.
Year 3 Triple Jump Training
Year 3 enjoyed learning the skills needed for the Triple Jump. It was great fun seeing how we could improve our jumping distance.
Y4 Athletics
Year 4 enjoyed learning how to do the Triple Jump in athletics today. We all agreed it was harder than it looked but we all managed to improve how far we jumped during the lesson.
Year 3 Athletics
Year 3 enjoyed a fun athletics session with Dan this afternoon. They enjoyed learning about how to improve their racing start. It was lots of fun playing the different games and races.
Y4 Hockey Final
Congratulations to our Y4 hockey players who came 2nd in the final at Millom. There were eight other schools taking part and we faced some tough opposition! We are now off to Carlisle in July for the School Games!
Gymnastics Y2
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed exploring different ways to move, balance and make shapes today in gymnastics.
Budding gymnasts
Reception used the wall apparatus for the first time in gymnastics and thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. They used the equipment well to practise what they have learnt over the past few weeks. They performed pencil, star and the tuck positions whilst on the equipment.
