Congratulations to our fantastic Y5/6 Girls’ Cricket Team who reached the county finals and competed at Cockermouth Cricket Club today. 

Year 2 went to Egremont Bowling Green to learn how to bowl. They then took part in a tournament and came second! Well done Year 2!

Year 2 used their running skills to good effect this morning finishing first and third in the team relay races. 

Year 1 ran really well at the running tournament this morning and even won the team relay race. 

Reception ran really well at the running tournament this morning.

Year 2 have been developing stamina and endurance running skills in the sunshine this afternoon.

What a great time was had by all at the Dance Extravaganza this afternoon. They all danced beautifully!

Year 4 had a great time at an Athletics Festival putting into practice skills we have been learning in P.E.

Year 5 enjoyed revising their gymnastic skills.

Y4 enjoyed taking part in the  Keepie Uppie Challenge to see who could hit the tennis ball the most number of times without dropping it. The record was 352! 

Reception had lots of fun in the sun this afternoon learning some basic cricket skills from some members of the Egremont Cricket Club. Afterwards they found out more about the sport in an interactive assembly.

Year 4 enjoyed learning new tennis skills with Dan. They learnt how to hold the racket correctly, how to serve and enjoyed playing a few games.
