Y6 Multi-skills
The cold January weather didn’t stop Y6 enjoying an energetic Multi-skills session outside with Dan. They have been working on attacking and invading ball games and learning how to defend.
Year 3 and 4 Athletics Festival
Our Year 3 and 4 children were excellent role models at the Whitehaven Athletics Festival today. We were very proud of their behaviour and their athletic performance. We await the results, but either way, we had a great time. Thanks to Mr Stead for joining us today.
Squash Y4
Year 4 had their last session at Winscale Squash Club this morning. They have all made a fabulous progress and had lots of fun whilst keeping fit and learning new skills.

Y4 Badminton Festival
Y4 enjoyed playing lots of games to improve their skills at the Badminton Festival today.
PE Festival 2019
We all had a great time at the PE muti-skills festival. We enjoyed trying out lots of new games.
High-5 Festival
The Netball Club took part in a High-5 festival alongside local Primary Schools this morning. What great team spirit they all demonstrated!
Gymnastics Year 3
Year 3 have been practising their rolls and now know how to do cartwheels! We are so good at gymnastics!
Halloween P.E.
Year 2 had a Halloween themed multiskills session for P.E. Today. They pretended to be ghosts, vampires, zombies and skeletons while trying to steal treasure from the haunted house and playing evading games. A spooky time was had by all!
Year 4 Squash
Year 4 enjoyed their very first Squash coaching session this morning. They developed their balancing skills and learnt what strong arms you need.
Year 4 Gymnastics 2
Year 4 were using all the skills they have learnt so far to improve and refine then put into a sequence.

This morning, Year 4 were experimenting with making shapes and improving their balance on the apparatus. They all identified that they needed to use their core strength.
