A colourful gymnastics lesson
During the final gymnastics lesson of the term, the Year 2 children were working towards a certificate. One of the criteria was to be able to use a dancing ribbon to create shapes. The children had great fun exploring the shapes they could create with them. What a fun lesson it was!

Year 5 Gymnastics
Year 5 have been learning how to do counter balances in gymnastics. They learnt the importance of a good hand grip and pulling or pushing against their partner. It was harder than they thought!

Year 4 are really enjoying developing the skills needed for cricket. They particularly enjoyed using their news skills to gain points in the game.

Budding Year 2 cricketers
Year 2 enjoyed their first cricket coaching session today. They worked on throwing, catching, hitting a ball and hitting wickets. They worked really hard to master these skills and cannot wait to see what they will be learning in their next session.
Y6 practise their running technique
Y6 kicked off the final half-term of the summer term with their first athletics lesson with Mrs Mason. They learnt how to bounce lightly on their toes and place their arms in the correct position to optimise their best possible running style and technique.
Squash Skills
Year 4 are really enjoying learning how to play squash. Alongside developing racket and ball skills, they are learning the rules of the game and keeping fit and active.
