Year 5 Cricket Engagement Day
Year 5 enjoyed a cricket engagement day with Chad from Chance to Shine Cricket. They learnt the basic throwing and catching skills for cricket then had a great game of Quick Cricket.
Cricket -Taster Session
Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their taster session of cricket this week with a visiting cricket coach. This was a good introduction to cricket in preparation for their P.E. lessons next term.
Keeping Active in Year 4

Y5 Pentathalon
Y5 enjoyed taking part in a Pentathalon today. They practised their running, jumping and throwing skills.
Y6 Dodgeball
Y6 have been refining their throwing and catching skills and consolidating their knowledge of how to play invasion games through weekly dodgeball sessions each Friday in the hall. Excellent teamwork and sportsmanship have developed.
Year2 virtual cross country
Today the whole school took part in a virtual cross country competition. Year 2 showed great determination and stamina in running 600 metres. Well done to all the children.

Lockdown Sports Day
We were not going to let the lockdown stop us having our annual sports day so we held a virtual one! The children took part in sports day activities at home or in the local environment. There was lots of running, skipping, long jump, egg and spoon races, obstacle courses and other activities.
