School Council Year 5
Today the Y5 children voted for who they wanted to represent them as a class on the School Council. The children who wanted to be considered all prepared speeches explaining why they would be good for the job. The two children elected are excited to start their new role.

A huge congratulations to Faith who came 2nd place in a competition run by the Harbour Commission. She painted this amazing picture of Stella the seal. We are very impressed and so proud of her!
Y6 Dodgeball
Y6 have been enjoying a variety of PE sessions but their favourite type of defend and attack game is dodgeball. They have been refining their skills in our sessions in the hall.

Year 5 and 6 Trip to Walby Farm Park

D&T in Year 5
Year 5 used recycled jeans to make their own bag. They chose denim as it is durable and will last a long time. They used a running stitch and back stitch to sew it up.
Reception at Lowther Castle
Reception went with Year 1 and 2 on our end of year trip to Lowther Castle. We played on slides, climbing frames, zip wires and even climbing nets. We wore our waterproofs as the weather was a little bit wet, but we still had a great time and even an outdoor picnic.
