Year 3 take part in Dodgeball
A few Year 3 children represented our school very successfully at St. Bees in a Dodgeball competition. Well done to all of them!
Macmillan Coffee Afternoon 2022
Last Friday the 30th September we hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Afternoon. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the afternoon and braved the awful weather. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our school community we raised a fantastic £536!
Our pebble families
In Reception we have been learning about the topic, “Me and my family”. The children then made their own families using pebbles. They then talked about who was in their family too.
Year 2 School Council Vote
Yesterday the Year 2 children voted for who they wanted them to represent them, as a class, on the School Council. The children thought hard about the qualities needed and placed their votes accordingly. I am sure that the two children elected will do a wonderful job.
Year 3 Visit the Library
Year 3 enjoyed visiting the library to choose a book. Macie even found a Willy Wonka golden ticket and won a prize!
Year 1’s First School Election
Today Year 1 took part in their first school election. The candidates spoke to the class to explain why they would make a good school councillor. The children were helped by Year 6 to cast their votes. We eagerly await the results.
