Year 2 have been learning how to use a dictionary and an online dictionary to help them find the meaning of unknown words in a poem so they could understand the poem better. They had to find words they did not know the meaning of then type them carefully in to the search bar. They read the definitions and copied them in to their books for future reference. They cannot wait to use the online dictionaries again for their work.
