Gymnastics Year 3
Year 3 have been practising their rolls and now know how to do cartwheels! We are so good at gymnastics!
Year 3 had a spooktacular day!
Year 3 enjoyed a fun filled day with lots of activities. They looked amazing in their scary costumes. An excellent effort from children and parents to make them look so goulish. We plan to write instructions for one of our activities: pumpkin
Making a Neolithic home
We really enjoyed making our Neolithic homes today. We brought in bits and bobs from home and collected some in school too. Houses are to be completed after half term.
Art and design
Preparing for winter weather with seasonal artwork. Children created winter silhouettes using oil pastel, paint and black marker pen.
Phunky fruit kebabs
Y3 were creating and tasting healthy fruit kebabs. They took a long time to prepare, but disappeared into stomachs very quickly!
Y3 Pray the Rosary
Y3 started October, the month of Mary, with praying the Rosary. We try to say a decade each day!
Investigating properties of rocks
Today, we learnt lots of new vocabulary to describe rocks such as: igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic, permeable, durable and density. We used this vocabulary to describe our rocks and their properties.
Windermere trip, the final chapter!
We worked so efficiently through our workshops so we even had time for making our own Stone Age rope, using rushes! We had a great day and learnt so much!

Making a crafty Grandparent surprise
We were very busy this afternoon, making our Grandparents a colourful card to show how much we love and appreciate them. Each petal had a special quality that we love about them. Happy Grandparents day for October 6th.
