Year 3 children looked amazing in their wonderful costumes on our Spooky Dress up day. A huge effort from parents and children. Well done all. You look spooky and ready to scare!
 

Year 3 children looked at powerful, descriptive settings and then created a very spooky one of their own. They used their 5 senses and a descriptosaurus to find exciting vocabulary. We even drafted a final version for display in class.

Year 3 took a Geography field walk to explore our local area, identifying human and physical features in Egremont. We discovered very few physical (natural) features but lots of human features.

A few Year 3 children represented our school very successfully at St. Bees in a Dodgeball competition. Well done to all of them! 

Year 3 enjoyed visiting the library to choose a book. Macie even found a Willy Wonka golden ticket and won a prize!

Year 3 children get better and better every week in gymnastics. 

Years 3 and 4 really enjoyed their Imam workshop, where they learnt all about Muslim beliefs, the 5 Pillars and where they go to worship. They had a great time, saw and handled artefacts, heard readings from their holy book and tried on holy garments.

We had a wonderful day under the shade of the wood and the fort at Lowther Castle. We had a super time playing and eating our picnic.

Some of our Year 3 children represented our school at the County School Sports event. They enjoyed many different Golf games and won medals at the end.  They loved meeting the mascot, Spirit. Well done everyone.

Year 3 had a great time at Sports Day today. Each team did their best and ended with an ice cream. Well done to our winners Red Team and a huge well done to all children who competed.

We had a wonderful week of sports, mixing dance, skipping and swimming. We had a fantastic week.
