Exploring Variables in Y2 Computing
Year 2 started their coding unit by exploring the concept of variables. They worked in small groups to test a number of materials to see if they float or sink. They used what they had observed to input the data in to the variables record sheet.
Exploring Shape
Year 2 are currently learning about 2D shapes. Today they have been exploring how to use a ruler to draw shapes then they spent some time exploring how to make shapes using a geoboard on the iPads. They had great fun seeing how many different representations of shapes they could make.
Christmas Dinner Day 2023

Friendship Disco 2023
Year 2 children came to school in non-uniform today ready for the Friendship Disco after school. They had a thoroughly enjoyable time dancing, playing musical statues and sharing a snack and a drink. Everyone went home happy and smiling.
Y2 Panathlon
