Y4 Writing
Year 4 have been feeling festive in their Christmas jumpers, listening to classic Christmas music while they write a final version of their legends.
Year 2 library visit
Year 2 enjoyed a visit to Egremont library today. They had a good browse through before choosing a book to take home. The session ended with a story read by Miss McKendrey.
Year 4 Library Visit
Year 4 enjoyed their visit to the library this morning. They were very mature, with excellent behaviour. They also took the time to complete the Library comments slip to leave feedback.
Y5 Viking Boy Images
After reading a paragraph from Viking Boy describing the ‘God Temple’, Y5 drew a pencil sketch showing their interpretation of the description.
Y6 Library Visit
Year 6 spent a morning at the library on Friday. They chose some lovely books to book out and enjoy reading at home and also enjoyed listening to a chapter of their current class novel: Street Child.

Year 2 Library Visit
Year 2 visited Egremont Library this morning. We all agreed that there are so many fabulous books in the library that it can be very difficult to choose which one to take home which means we will just have to return during the holidays to choose another back.
Year 2 Writing Journey
Year 2 enjoyed looking through their big red writing books to look at their writing journey so far through school. They were all interested, amazed and proud at how much progress they have made.
Y6 Library Visit
Y6 enjoyed a peaceful, afternoon at the library today. Despite almost being ready to leave us for Secondary school, it proved that you’re never too old to enjoy listening to a good story!
Year 2 Instructions
Year 2 have been learning how to write instructions. They have also been reading ‘Mama Panya’s Pancakes’ so today we used our instructions to help us make our own pancakes.
Reading stripe winners
Congratulations to this half term’s reading stripe winners who have read at least five times a week for the last eight weeks! Everyone else who had earned some reading stripes over the last eight weeks got a sweet as a reward. Let’s see if everyone can earn more reading stripes over the next half…
