The rainbow reading rewards has started again for the new term. These children have read at least five times in one week or both weeks of the holiday from school. What a great start! I wonder who will be the winners this half term?

This week was the final week for children to earn a reading stripe this half term. There were two overall winners for this half term who had earned all seven reading stripes. They won an Easter egg each. All the other children who had earned stripes this half term won a small Easter treat.

Year One have had a great time today visiting Egremont library.  We shared a couple of books together then chose books we thought we may like to read ourselves to take home.

Year 2 and Year 5 enjoyed sharing books together, taking it in turns to read to one another. 

Year 5 really enjoyed World Book Day activities. Everyone made a big effort and looked amazing in their costumes. Check out our BFG dream jars. We really enjoyed sharing a book with Y2 children. Well done Year 5 - an amazing day!
