Remembrance at the War Memorial 2021
This morning our Year 2 children represented the school at the Remembrance service at Egremont War Memorial. They observed the event with reverence and respect. The class Beacons presented and laid a wreath at the War Memorial that the whole class made. We are very proud of them all.
Year 3 Wear Red for Remembrance Day
Year 3 wore red and joined the rest of Key Stage 2, on the yard, at 11 o’clock for a 2 minute silence to mark Remembrance Day. During the afternoon we created some lovely poppy fields using oil pastels. Lest we forget !
Nursery Bonfire celebrations 2021
Nursery celebrated Bonfire night by watching some fireworks with Reception and having a sparkler if they wanted to. We also had a hot chocolate. Happy Bonfire night.
Year 1 Diwali Lights

Year 3 Maths Week
Year 3 enjoyed Maths week, this week. They were solving problems linked to addition and subtraction, doing an outdoor maths treasure hunt and practicing times tables skills to compete in England Rocks on TTR.
Reception bonfire celebrations
Reception and Nursery celebrated Bonfire night with some fireworks and sparklers and even a hot chocolate. In the afternoon Reception also made their own chocolate apples. Happy Bonfire night.
Living things investigation in Year 2
This term Year 2 have been learning about living things and their habitats. Today they went to investigate the living things that are in our school grounds. They used an app to help identify plants they did not know the name of. The children were very surprised by some of their findings.

Netball Festival
Well done to our fantastic netballers who had a great morning playing against other schools enabling them to develop their skills and have a lot of fun. We won two games and drew two!
