A huge congratulations to Faith who came 2nd place in a competition run by the Harbour Commission. She painted this amazing picture of Stella the seal. We are very impressed and so proud of her!
Y6 Dodgeball
Y6 have been enjoying a variety of PE sessions but their favourite type of defend and attack game is dodgeball. They have been refining their skills in our sessions in the hall.
Year 3 vote for their school councillors
Year 3 voted for their class councillors after hearing individual manifestos. They made their votes in a ballot organised by Year 6.
Our first week in Reception

Observing Closely in Science

First few days in Nursery
Wow, what an amazing first few days back in Nursery.
We have loved welcoming everyone, both old and new, into Nursery this week.

Year 5 and 6 Trip to Walby Farm Park
Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic time at Walby Farm Park to mark the end of term.They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Play Barn and challenging themselves to go down the steep red slide. They had so much fun playing hide and seek in the Roman fort. The day was rounded off with an icecream to help…
D&T in Year 5
Year 5 used recycled jeans to make their own bag. They chose denim as it is durable and will last a long time. They used a running stitch and back stitch to sew it up.
Reception at Lowther Castle
Reception went with Year 1 and 2 on our end of year trip to Lowther Castle. We played on slides, climbing frames, zip wires and even climbing nets. We wore our waterproofs as the weather was a little bit wet, but we still had a great time and even an outdoor picnic.
Nursery Fun Day 2023
What a fabulous fun day we had yesterday!
We loved getting our faces painted and jungle tattoos! We also enjoyed an ice cream treat, playing hook a duck and all the party games you can think of!
Year 2 trip to Lowther Castle
Year 2 had a wonderful time on this year’s Infant end of year trip to Lowther Castle. The children spent many hours exploring the Lost Castle and Dragon’s Lair and playing happily with each other. There were so many things to see and do. What a perfect way to end the school…
Year 3 end of year trip to Walby
Year 3 had a great day at Walby Farm Park. They enjoyed playing in the wooden fort, petting the animals, exploring the huge indoor soft play, outdoor park and a tour around the farm in a tractor and trailer. We finished a fun day with ice cream
