Year 3 Celebrate St. Bridget
Year 3 have been learning all about their Patron Saint Bridget. They attended church, learnt the St. Bridget hymn, listened to the story of St. Bridget’s cloak, did some fact finding and created their own storyboards, bookmarks and cloak pieces. A busy Bridget’s day.

Y1 Play Wheelchair Basketball
Year 1 had a fantastic time learning how to play Wheelchair Basketball. This was a fantastic experience for everyone. We quickly learnt the skills needed to manoeuvre the chairs and soon were playing tactically. A P.E. lesson to remember!
Year 1 Visit to Keswick Museum

Rugby Coaching
Year 6 enjoyed a taster rugby coaching session this morning with local rugby coach, Mr Telford, from Egremont Rangers. They learnt some essential ball skills and attacking and defending techniques.

Year 5 Hockey

Wheelchair Basket Ball Year 5
Year 5 had a great experience learning how to play wheelchair basket ball. They quickly learnt how to manoeuvre the wheelchairs and soon picked up clever tactics in order to score a goal.
Year 5 Rugby
Year 5 had a wonderful morning learning rugby skills from one of our parents / rugby coach. They learnt how to throw the ball correctly and attacking and defending skills.

Today, we had a parent/rugby coach in school to help us with some ball skills - we’re having an action packed week! All the children gave it their all and worked on attacking and defending techniques.
