Nursery’s finger paintings
This week Nursery have been practising their fine motor skills by creating these lovely finger paintings. They had so much fun getting their hands all covered in paint!
Y4 hockey
In PE we have been learning hockey skills with Dan. We learnt how to hold the stick with two hands, to dribble, shoot and defend. We finished the lesson with a game to practise all these skills. We all played fairly and showed good sportsmanship.
Y4 fractions
Year 4 have been learning about equivalent fractions. They cut the cakes into halves, quarters and eighths and discovered how many quarters and eighths were equal to a half. After a while they worked out that if the numerator is half of the denominator then it will be equivalent to a half. They…

The Elf ate all the chocolate
Today the Elf was caught eating the chocolates from the tin and leaving the empty wrappers. He then said he would share the sweets with the children for their party tomorrow. Will we see the nice side of the elf tomorrow when he shares the chocolates?
Y4 Competition runner up
Y4 entered a competition to design a picture for a new van at Cumbria River’s Trust. We had a runner up in our class and he received a Book Token in the post today! Well done!
