During this period of lockdown Y6 have been learning how to be kind to themselves to protect their mental and physical well being. They created bright, cheerful posters to show what they have learned! 

During lockdown Year 2 are continuing to learn about the Great Fire of London. This week they learned about how the fire was put out then they created a silhouette artwork of the fire.

We are getting on with our home learning brilliantly.  A big thank you to parents and carers for supporting the children with the tasks set.  Keep it up. 

Year 3 are such hard working children. I am so proud of your effort and determination to do your very best and keep your learning alive. It is so important. Well done to you all and to all parents for doing this so very well during these difficult times. You are amazing. KEEP IT UP ALL!

Year 6 have started a new Geography topic about Mountains, Volcanoes and Earthquakes. The children have created diagrams to show the 4 layers of the earth and what they are made from. Excellent learning going on at home! 

Y5 were given a Maya civilization project. They could create something of  their choice to show what they had learnt. This is what they came up with. The imagination and creativity has been absolutely amazing. Well done everyone!

This afternoon Year 2 had a very special treat. They may not have been able to go to the pantomime but we brought the pantomime and popcorn to them. It was called ‘Al and the Three Bears.’ It was great fun and we learned about about algorithms while watching it too.

Year 4 created some atmospheric artwork and took part in the Remembrance Run to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Year 4 followed a recipe to bake their own biscuits. They had to use lots of skills including maths. 
 

Year 4 designed then made their very own vikings shields using a range of essential skills. 
 

Year 4 use a range of resources to help solve maths problems. 
 

Year 4 had a busy day making some Christmas tree decorations and Christmas cards.
