This year’s end of Year trip was to Rookery Woods. The children had great fun in the sun exploring the stone circle, orienteering and playing on the adventure playground. what a great way to end the year!

Year 5 have been learning how to play the Ukulele this year. They have learnt how to read music and were able to perform a selection of songs to the rest of the school. Everyone enjoyed listening to them.

Year 5 enjoyed their trip to the library to change their books. Many children opted for non- fiction books this time and they were keen to get started with reading them.

Year 5 enjoyed putting all the skills they have learnt over the last half term in athletics into practice in a mini class tournament. They did the triple long jump, standing long jump, hurdles, javelin and relays. They all had a great time cheering in their team mates. 
 

KS2 had a fantastic time on their end of year trip in the Lost Fort at Lowther Castle.

The perfect way to end the year. The most fantastic day spent exploring the fort at Lowther Castle in the lovely sunshine. The smiles say it all!
