Y4 maths games
As part of our maths day year 4 played some maths games. When they landed on a square they had to work out the calculation. The winner was the first to finish and answer all the questions correctly. They then went on to design and play their own maths games!
Y4 Mini Water Cycles

Y4 Squash
Y4 enjoyed learning lots of new skills in their squash lesson at the Falcon Club. They learnt the importance of warming up, how to hold the racquet correctly, how to hit the ball and finished with some exercises to improve balance.
Y4 hockey
In PE we have been learning hockey skills with Dan. We learnt how to hold the stick with two hands, to dribble, shoot and defend. We finished the lesson with a game to practise all these skills. We all played fairly and showed good sportsmanship.

Y4 ice cube experiment
Year 4 have been learning about solid, liquids and gases. They had some ice cubes with gummy bears in and had to turn the ice into water to get the bear out to eat. We then heated some ice in the kettle to turn it into a gas.
