Year 4

Year 4 enjoyed their visit to the library this morning. They were very mature, with excellent behaviour. They also took the time to complete the Library comments slip to leave feedback. 

Representatives from Y3 & Y4 enjoyed taking part in a Football Festival. Great ball skills and team spirit from all involved. 

Today’s Prayer and Liturgy was about how we can follow in Jesus’ footsteps by helping others. 

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed making a working model of the human digestive system. Ask them how they did it!

Year 4 having been learning how to jump safely during gymnastics. They experiemented with making different shapes.

Y4 enjoyed learning all about the Romans at the Beacon. 

Congratulations to Jensen and Lucy who won an ‘Electrical Safety’ colouring competition!

Y4 have enjoyed finding out about static electricity.

Year 4 enjoyed learning about which animal they were similar to and what job would suit their personalities best in our ‘Animal and Me’ workshop.

Year 4 had a great time at an Athletics Festival putting into practice skills we have been learning in P.E.

Y4 enjoyed taking part in the  Keepie Uppie Challenge to see who could hit the tennis ball the most number of times without dropping it. The record was 352! 

Congratulations to Emma who won the Free Flow flag competition for the harbour. As a result, we enjoyed a trip to the harbour master’s office to see the flag being hoisted up for for the first time. We learnt all about how boats come in and out of if the harbour and finished the morning off with a…
