Representatives from Y4 enjoyed competing in a gymnastics tournament. Fabulous effort all round. Well done! 

Year 4 came to school dressed in their pyjamas today. They brought in their favourite books, wrote a biography about their favourite author and spent some time enjoying sharing books with their friends in the sunshine. 

Year 4 have been learning some key hockey skills ready for an upcoming tournament. 

Year 4 explored the concept of how to be safe online by revealing only the information that they want to reveal. They then designed and created thier own Avatar to represent their online identity. Can you guess who these Avatars represent? #freetobeme 

Children planned and delivered our Prayer and Liturgy this morning. 

Well done to everyone in Year 4 who completed their Level 1 cycling proficiency this afternoon. Everyone in Year 4 have been practising their cycling skills in preparation for today and they all deserve commendation for their determination and resilience.

Year 4 enjoyed using their core strength and balance skills outside in the natural environment. They had lots of fun together, supporting each other and finding different ways to develop key skills and overcome challenges. 

What a wonderful day Year 4 had at Whinlatter Forest! We learnt lots about mountain environments as we walked around in the fresh air investigating our local environment. 

What a fabulous morning Year 4 had at Cockermouth Mountain Rescue. We learnt lots about what an important job the Mountain Rescue Team, including Bess the Sheepdog, do to keep us safe whilst enjoying our local mountains (fells). A huge thank you to Derek and Tom who made us feel very welcome and…

School Councillors from Year 4 were invited to a tree planting ceremony with members of the town council to plant a commemorative apple tree and were treated to refreshments afterwards at the DeLucy Centre.

This morning, Year 4 visited Egremont Library to choose a book to take home to read and share with family over the Christmas holiday. 

Year 4 have been feeling festive in their Christmas jumpers, listening to classic Christmas music while they write a final version of their legends.
