Outdoor Learning Day for Year 6
Our Year 6 class made the most of our outdoor area for Outdoor Learning day and took drama to the outdoors. They acted, improvised and retold stories in different scenes. Lots of skills used from their workshop earlier this week.
Year 6 trip to the library in the Summer Term
Year 6 enjoyed an afternoon at the library. They picked out new books, while also taking their old books back. Reading is essential to build on their creativity and imagination and building on their love of reading too.
Zentangle Patterns
As part of their writing lessons on instructional texts, Year 3 have been using adverbs to improve instructions on creating zentangle patterns. They used the instructions to help Year 2 and themselves to create their own zentangle patterns. How wonderful their finished patterns were!
