Our new Reception class have enjoyed learning in our indoor and outdoor provision this week and getting to know our new classroom and routines. We read the story of ‘The Colour Monster’ and joined in with lots of number rhymes. We also played with the Beebots and started to learn some new sounds…

What a wonderful first few days back in Nursery we have had! We have loved to meet all our new children and families. 

We have explored the Nursery provision both inside and out, had a go at dough disco, sang Nursery rhymes and loved being outside in the sunshine! 
 

Look how much our Reception children have grown in a year from their first week in Reception to their last. Good Luck in Year 1!

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their PE session today with the parachute and lots of sunshine. 
 

What a fabulous time we’ve all had at Lowther. The sunshine even made an appearance. Lots of fun, running around and giggles were had by all. A really lovely end to the term. 
 

We all had a great time spending time together exploring the fort at Lowther Castle on our end of year trip. We finished the day with ice lollies to cool off! 

Year 6 enjoyed their final trip together today at Lowther Castle. They had great fun running around, climbing, swinging, sliding and generally spending time together in the great outdoors. The day ended with an ice lolly to cool down.

Year One had the most amazing school trip to Walby Farm Park. We enjoyed seeing the animals big and small, bumpy tractor rides, exploring the adventure play areas, having a yummy picnic together and daring to try out some exciting slides. The sunshine even came out for us. What a great…

A huge congratulations to our netball team who took part in a tournament at West Lakes Academy. They worked together as a team taking on board all the coaching skills they had learnt from our netball coach Mrs Parr and came 1st place overall scoring 41 goals! We are very proud of them!

Reception had a fun day on our trip to Walby Farm park. We played on the indoor wooden castle, firing balls out of canons and sliding down slides, played in the indoor ball pit, go karting, sledging and even trampolining. We also got to see some animals on our tractor ride and in the barn. What a…
