Nursery having fun in the sun!
Nursery have been having lots of fun in the lovely weather we have been having. We even had a paddle in the paddling pool, had a play on the big yard and went in the forest.
Nursery face painting for the Summer fete
Nursery had their faces painted on the morning of the Summer Fete. We had some caterpillars, superheroes, unicorns, Hello Kitty and even a snake!
Community Team Certificates
Our head boy and girl received certificates today on behalf of the school for taking part in Actions have Consequences workshops from HMP Manchester last week.

The children in Year 1 have had a lovely morning having their faces painted before the Summer Fete.
Kwik Cricket
Congratulations to our Y6 boys who narrowly missed out on a place in the final of the County Kwik Cricket tournament at Keswick last week.
Cumbria School Games Final 2018
We are incredibly proud of our children for excelling in their chosen sport and making it to the Cumbria School Games Final at Carlisle. They played to the best of their ability and did themselves and our school proud!
year 4 Weir trip 2
Year 4 continued their river work today with Becca from Cumbria River Trust. We started in the classroom and learnt all about fresh water mussels. We measured their shells then using a graph and worked out how old they were. We then walked back down to the weir for a picnic lunch learning lots…
Reception trip
Reception enjoyed their trip with Nursery on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. They went on a diesel train to Dalegarth where they shopped, had lunch and played on the playground. A member of the railway staff commented, “All the children are impeccably behaved. It’s one of the best behaved…
