Y5 Catapults
Y5 have been learning about levers in science and how useful they are in everyday life. We made catapults to learn how levers work and had a competition to see who could project a marshmallow the furthest distance.
Year 2 learn to play the glockenspiel
In their music lessons Year 2 children have been listening to and appraising songs about friendship. As part of this work they have been learning to play the glockenspiel so they can accompany one of the friendship songs.
Arrrrr the Nursery pirates
In Nursery we have started our Pirate topic. The children have been making their own paper pirate underpants, making pirate hats and telescopes. Next we will be looking for pirate treasure using our treasure maps.
Y1 Investigate Trees
In science Y1 have been learning about different types of trees. Deciduous trees lose their leaves but evergreen trees stay green all year round. We enjoyed investigating at home and when we were out to identify deciduous and evergreen trees. Enjoy looking at what we have found so far.
Racket Skills
Year 4 have been learning racket skills. They learned to hold the racket correctly and control the ball. They quickly realised that it requires a lot of strength and skill and that it’s not as easy as it looks.
Year 3 enjoyed music in the gazebo

Year 3 learn to skip
Year 3 have really enjoyed learning how to skip and improving their skills during PE. Now they skip at any opportunity. The skip counters have been up to 999!

Year 3 have really enjoyed playing on Langley Castle today. We had great fun!
