Year 3 Celebrate St. Bridget
Year 3 have been learning all about their Patron Saint Bridget. They attended church, learnt the St. Bridget hymn, listened to the story of St. Bridget’s cloak, did some fact finding and created their own storyboards, bookmarks and cloak pieces. A busy Bridget’s day.
Year 3 Rugby
Year 3 had a wonderful time in Rugby. What a super, muddy, excellent afternoon learning new skills and working really hard as a team. Many thanks to Mr. Telford who came in to teach us.
Year 3 Wheelchair Basketball
Year 3 had a a great time taking part in wheelchair basketball. The coaches remarked on their wonderful teamwork and how skillful they were in moving around in the wheelchairs. The children had wonderful fun as they were allowed to crash into each other and snatch the ball.
Year 3 Mental Health Awareness Week
Year 3 have been busy thinking about who makes them happy and why. They have written letters to thank people who make them feel good. They watched a video about pupil voice, everyone matters and understood what makes them happy and why.

Year 3 had a fantastic time consolidating and learning about the Stone Age to the Iron Age. They had great fun taking part in axe making, copper art engraving, timeline construction, studying artefacts, Hunter gathering, making fire, examining poo and animal skulls.

Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the theatre to enjoy a diverse story about an Indian girl who loved to tell stories and the hardships that she faced.

Year 3 treat afternoon
Year 3 enjoyed hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows whilst watching a Christmas movie. The perfect end to their busy week. A well deserved treat after OFSTED visitors were blown away by the exemplary behaviour of all children and their hard working attitudes. Well done wonderful children.
