Year 3 Stone Age Cave Painting
Year 3 enjoyed recreating Stone Age Cave Paintings this afternoon. We made the paper look old by dying it using teabags. We learnt that they created their own paints using natural resources.
Year 3 Prayer and Liturgy
Today we enjoyed a Prayer and Liturgy that was planned and led by Mia. She chose the theme, Word of God, seating arrangements and hymns. We look forward to celebrating more Prayer and Liturgy sessions together.
Year 3 Maths
Year 3 children showed off their amazing understanding of place value and numbers to 1000 today. They worked brilliantly, in groups, to create a poster showing all the different ways to represent a number and enjoying lots of maths discussion.
Year 3 100 Mile Challenge
Year 3 enjoyed starting the 100 mile challenge with the help of Mr Blanks.
Year 3 Prayers
Year 3 enjoyed a lovely return to school yesterday. We had a peaceful afternoon composing and sharing prayers for our new school year and enjoying some quiet moments of contemplation.
