Reception had a party to celebrate Christmas. We had an afternoon tea of party food and played party games such as musical chairs, bumps, statues and pin the nose on Santa. What a great party! 
 

On Christmas jumper day Reception took part in some Christmas crafts and also had a special visit from Santa.

In Reception we have been reading the story of Supertato and his other adventures. The children have been drawing and labelling their own characters and we then got to make them with real vegetables. Super veggies to the rescue! 
 

For anti bullying week Reception looked at examples of how to be kind online on Project Evolve. We then created a class poster of how to be kind online and to others. 
 

For Maths week Reception played lots of games with dice. We used a games sheet and added our own counters and characters to play the game and matched our dice to dominoes. Maths in Reception is lots of fun!
 

Reception and Nursery celebrated Bonfire night with some fireworks and sparklers and even a hot chocolate. In the afternoon Reception also made their own chocolate apples. Happy Bonfire night.
