Year 3 Geography Fieldwork Walk
Year 3 took a Geography field walk to explore our local area, identifying human and physical features in Egremont. We discovered very few physical (natural) features but lots of human features.
Year 3 take part in Dodgeball
A few Year 3 children represented our school very successfully at St. Bees in a Dodgeball competition. Well done to all of them!
Year 3 Visit the Library
Year 3 enjoyed visiting the library to choose a book. Macie even found a Willy Wonka golden ticket and won a prize!
Dodgeball
A small selection of our Year 3 & 4 children represented St Bridget’s in a Dodgeball tournament at St Bees School today. There were about ten local schools taking part. They enjoyed the many varied activities.
Year 3 The Wonderful Gymnasts
Year 3 children get better and better every week in gymnastics.
Imam visit and workshop
Years 3 and 4 really enjoyed their Imam workshop, where they learnt all about Muslim beliefs, the 5 Pillars and where they go to worship. They had a great time, saw and handled artefacts, heard readings from their holy book and tried on holy garments.
KS2 End Of Year Trip
KS2 had a fantastic time on their end of year trip in the Lost Fort at Lowther Castle.

Year 3 enjoyed the County School Sports
Some of our Year 3 children represented our school at the County School Sports event. They enjoyed many different Golf games and won medals at the end. They loved meeting the mascot, Spirit. Well done everyone.
Year 3 enjoy the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Year 3 had a wonderful time celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. We made crowns, ate ice cream, enjoyed our musical buffet lunch and played all afternoon. Thank you your majesty, for your 70 year celebrations
Year 3/4 Football Tournament
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic afternoon at a football tournament at St. Benedict’s School today. They enjoyed practising all the skills they have been learning in PE with our football coach.⚽️⚽️⚽️
