Year 5 Visit to Egremont Library

Year 5 Ball Skills
Year 5 enjoyed a warm up game of ‘Chain Tag’ in PE. They had to work together as a team to catch the whole class and make one long chain. This was followed by relay games where they practiced ball skills such as dribbling, changing direction and passing.

Woodmatters 2023 pt2
Year 4 learned about the runic alphabet and had to decipher the instructions written in runes to find out how to make ink in the same way as the Anglo-Saxons. They also learned how parchment was made then made their own quill which they used to write their own message using the runic alphabet.
