Pirate parrots
The children have been making pirate parrot finger puppets this week with felt. They picked their own colours for the parrot and his beak, glued their own eyes on and added a colourful feather. Let’s hope they don’t turn into talking parrots when they get home.
Arrrrr the Nursery pirates
In Nursery we have started our Pirate topic. The children have been making their own paper pirate underpants, making pirate hats and telescopes. Next we will be looking for pirate treasure using our treasure maps.
Nursery’s Easter bonnet parade 2021
Our Nursery children made Easter hats at home and took part in a parade in the classroom and then outside with a standing applause from KS2. The children loved taking part.
Our bread caterpillars

World Book Day in Nursery 2021
We celebrated World Book Day in Nursery by wearing our pyjamas in school and at home, and sharing books. The children in Nursery listened to books read by Mrs Palmer and read their own books too. We even had some hot chocolate and biscuits.
Nursery love music
In Nursery we have a weekly musical instrument sessions where the children have the chance to play and listen to a variety of instruments. We learn how too play fast and slow and quiet and loud and also sing and play the instruments at the same time. We definitely have some budding musicians.

Pancake tasting in Nursery
Nursery made some pancakes to celebrate Pancake day. We flipped them in a frying pan and then the best part- we got to taste them! We could choose Biscoff spread, syrup, chocolate sauce or jam to go on them. Yummy.

Water channel fun
Our Nursery that are in school have been enjoying using our new water channels outside. With the weather being very rainy at the minute, it was the perfect time to put our waterproofs on and test them out. In Nursery we have fun in all weathers.
