Nursery - What’s your favourite tale?

This half term our topic has been ‘Whats your favourite tale?’. 

We have loved reading lots of stories and exploring different fairytales using puppets. We have been through forests and up beanstalks to lands far away. Our top picks have been ‘The Three Little Pigs’, ‘The Gingerbread Man’, ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and ‘Little Red Riding Hood and the Sweet Little Wolf’. We have had lots of fun baking gingerbread men, making porridge like Goldilocks, using different materials to build bridges to help the Billy Goats Gruff, acting out our favourite parts of the stories, dressing up as characters in our role play area and making our very own role play masks. 

We can’t wait to get stuck into our next topic ‘Celebrating in Style’.
